The idea of making and selling escalopes, which started in 1982, was solely created by the Butcher Chef Emile Y. Barhouche.
L’Escalope officially came into being in 1984, and despite challenges and fierce market competition the company was free to grow, and grow it did, opening and still opening new branches in Lebanon.
